An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 4th minute of play forced Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Francis scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Baumer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Tiadoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Tiadoro in the 10th minute of play. Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Enhebrator FC from getting a goal against them. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Tiadoro in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Enhebrator FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Baumer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Enhebrator FC's Bonifacio Baumer got control of the ball when Petrică Măcriș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Branislav Velchevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Tiadoro went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Godofredo Tiadoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 29 minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jairo Hulberto who took care of the corner kick. In the 46th minute, Elpidio Francis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bonifacio Baumer. The goal made the score 2-1.

ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús was substituted for Elpidio Francis. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Monclús stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Jaime Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Jaime Flor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2.
