A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Niklas Pedersson hit a great ball. Alexandros Ismael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute Roberto Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21stth minute of the game Jacinto Galeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustavo Bernebe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Galeno's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute Roberto Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Pedersson. Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Rodriguez in the 31st minute of play. Jacinto Galeno got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gustavo Bernebe handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The Águilas Poblanas fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Águilas Poblanas's Jacinto Galeno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Galeno in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Bernebe saved Amboy FC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Goleš came free, but Alexandros Ismael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amedeo Vitucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gustavo Bernebe made a huge save. In the 46th minute Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alexandros Ismael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Beltran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Bernebe having to make a save. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ubaldo Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. Zacarias Goleš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alexandros Ismael made a huge save. Gustavo Bernebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Águilas Poblanas were awarded a corner. Niklas Pedersson went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Beltran in the 77th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Eusebio Beltran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gustavo Bernebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
