Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusebio Beltran started the match with the kick off. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Eusebio Beltran made a precise shot to the right of Branislav Velchevski. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 10 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Papo. Águilas Poblanas's Eusebio Beltran got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Gabon. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 26th minute of play. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Beltran in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Águilas Poblanas's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Alexandros Ismael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Francis in the 37th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Arnaldo Gabon could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Alexandros Ismael however easily saved by the left post. Arnaldo Gabon took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandros Ismael. Alexandros Ismael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 45th minute of the game Mustafa Ali Cansoy made a throw-in which Arnaldo Gabon played forward. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. Aristides Asteri replaced Arnaldo Gabon. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Monclús stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Rafael Dalmu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Eusebio Beltran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Branislav Velchevski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 59th minute of play. Alexandros Ismael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Monclús, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Carlo Ciolli got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Iker Urti replaced Ciro Matai. After 64 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Ciolli. In the 68th minute Águilas Poblanas were awarded a corner. Niklas Pedersson went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Iker Urti managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alexandros Ismael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Asteri in the 70th minute of play. The throw-in from Cristian Papo in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Petrică Măcriș. If Iker Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Monclús in the 86th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branislav Velchevski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Vitucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Águilas Poblanas's Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Aristides Asteri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexandros Ismael was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Águilas Poblanas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
