But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Loi couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bacete came free, but Jacek Matuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurek Ohrem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belo Alvarez in the 23rd minute of play. Nordine Ighil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Vadillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after A.D. Alcorcón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Derek Henderson took the corner. In the 33rd minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éthan Pichard in the 35th minute of play. Silvestre Loi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Maurino Serena made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Maurino Serena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th minute Éthan Pichard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Loi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SV Bad Harzburg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Derek Henderson in the 53rd minute. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Loi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Belo Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacek Matuch. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacek Matuch should have stopped the shot. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 66th minute of the match. Jacek Matuch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Alvarez in the 67th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacek Matuch in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Loi in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurin Mangas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas got a free kick in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Loi in the 79th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Loi in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Isaac Ortiz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éthan Pichard in the 86th minute of play. Alcorcón were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant SV Bad Harzburg side.
