Águilas Poblanas's attentive Niklas Pedersson managed to snatch the ball when Zacarias Osorio made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 55 minutes, Elpidio Francis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
