After 9 minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nereo Acosta who took care of the corner kick. Erlantz Bermejo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Alvarez in the 76th minute. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Monclús's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Vadillos. 96 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leroy Antunez. A.D. Alcorcón's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
