Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 7th minute of the match. Pontus Nordström came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis. But to his dismay, Elpidio Francis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 11th minute of the game Enzo Peruxu made a throw-in which Witomir Pisarczyk played forward. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Santa Margarita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elpidio Francis took the corner. The corner ended in Elpidio Francis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström did a great save. 17 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a corner. Santa Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Francis ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Bonifacio Suarez at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Santa Margarita. 0-3. Arnaldo Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Santa Margarita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elpidio Francis took the corner. Arnaldo Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Witomir Pisarczyk made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 62nd minute of the match. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA made a substitution. The corner ended in Esteban Iztal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström did a great save. In the 86th minute, Mauro Icardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Arnoldo Cordero hit a great ball. Santa Margarita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
