Flavinho Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Flavinho Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavinho Meira was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 8th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Lógica FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavinho Meira quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Meira having to interfere. Flavinho Meira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Lógica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Flavinho Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aníbal Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aníbal Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Renan Gerber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-1. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavinho Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Flavinho Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Flavinho Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renan Gerber was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Lógica FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Norberto Godoi hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Lógica FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Coelho. Lógica FC made a substitution. Ulisses Velasco replaced Luiz de Almeida. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Flavinho Meira made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Lógica FC's Rogério Peixoto got a free kick in the 84th minute. Lógica FC's Chen Chuan Yuan was substituted for Renan Gerber. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Aníbal Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Meira having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lógica FC throughout the match.
