After a defensive mix-up in Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Basajaun came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Zaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Honorio Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colombia's Luis Cazalla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabian Urdaspal, made in the 31st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 34th minute of play forced Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper Armando Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Lore. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Fabian Urdaspal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Urdaspal to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Abram Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Teofilo Maidana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. 78 minutes into the match, Teofilo Maidana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Maidana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. 82 minutes into the match, Teofilo Maidana notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Teofilo Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Apat Machado.
