Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Hyuga. 28 minutes in the game, Gabino Silva fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Steve Hyuga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steve Hyuga might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steve Hyuga ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Hyuga in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Amancio Ricart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Steve Hyuga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's Steve Hyuga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Seco's late challenge caught a ManagerZone Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Seco helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Ricart came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
