He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play forced ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Gatot Sessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Filippo Inzaghi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match, Serafino Tino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 33rd minute of play forced ManagerZone Academy's goalkeeper Gatot Sessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Tino. After a defensive mix-up in ManagerZone Academy's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gatot Sessa came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gatot Sessa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Ruben Ayala put in a rough tackle. In the 44th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to ManagerZone Academy getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Guido Ponc hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Filippo Inzaghi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ManagerZone Academy's Gatot Sessa. Gatot Sessa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gatot Sessa made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Academy defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gatot Sessa. The ManagerZone Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gatot Sessa should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Gatot Sessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A hard shot 89 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Gatot Sessa managed to make a qualified save. ManagerZone Academy's players were relieved. A collision led to ManagerZone Academy getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Roberto Louis hit a great ball. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
