Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Olivos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Robustiano Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of play. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Robustiano Nel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 21st minute, Roberto Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Nel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 30 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Tomas Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Robustiano Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes Olivos Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 36th minute, Benedicto Patrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of the match. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Olivos Futbol Club getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Andres Estefan hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Benedicto Patrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olivos Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Olivos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Ondino to make the kick off. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Robustiano Nel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Suarez in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Olivos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Robustiano Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Nel made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Luciano Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute of play. Luciano Ondino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Olivos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Robustiano Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Patrido in the 83rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Nel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 96th minute Luciano Ondino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Olivos Futbol Club's Luciano Ondino. But to his dismay, Luciano Ondino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Olivos Futbol Club to leave the ground with a draw.
