Brooks Willison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Silban. In the 44th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Vellito. Shuspendemo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Ismael Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shuspendemo's Ismael Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Shuspendemo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Biraga in the 69th minute of play. Ismael Vellito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 71st minute of play. Réda Kolb took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Gaspar Ihazintu got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ismael Vellito saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ismael Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Shuspendemo's Freddy Erauso got a free kick in the 96th minute. Shuspendemo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
