Teo Veto started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efrain Distiratsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Los Linyeras's Efrain Distiratsu. Efrain Distiratsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Los Linyeras getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Clodoveo Martinez hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Efrain Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Teo Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teo Veto got free with Dante Lacasa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Isauro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Los Linyeras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Rouco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alejo Loramendi hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Efrain Distiratsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Segundo Isauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Isauro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Loramendi during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Linyeras's Alejo Loramendi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Los Linyeras's Agustin Donio got a free kick in the 50th minute. Teo Veto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Los Linyeras's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Efrain Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Linyeras's Efrain Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 66th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute of the match Los Linyeras got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agustin Donio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agustin Donio made a great header on Los Linyeras's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Efrain Distiratsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Lautaro Mancebo made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Los Linyeras's Efrain Distiratsu managed to reach the ball for a save. Efrain Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Los Linyeras's Efrain Distiratsu got control of the ball when Luca Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Efrain Distiratsu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Efrain Distiratsu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Segundo Isauro took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
