Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Castanheira in the 18th minute of the match. Cristiano Lattanzio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atanasije Vuković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Titãs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Lattanzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes of play, Titãs FC's Bonifacio Romano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Lattanzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Atanasije Vuković stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atanasije Vuković having to interfere. Ronaldo Gama made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bonifacio Romano however managed to control. Honduras were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
