Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Triệu Anh Hung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Thanh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huế's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. After 7 played minutes Huế got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Thanh. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Triệu Anh Hung hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Honduras were furious when Emanuel Ocampo was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 15th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Nguyễn Thanh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nguyễn Lien kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lê Binh came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. But to his dismay, Sebastian Villa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Moises Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lê Binh having to make a save. Placido Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Valentín Carvallo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lautaro Navarro, a very annoying self made goal in the 31st minute which led to 2-1. Nguyễn Lien kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Paul in the 36th minute of the match. Nguyễn Lien charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Lien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Huế's Nguyễn Lien got a free kick in the 40th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Triệu Anh Hung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Huế got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Lien. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Paul in the 60th minute of the match. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lê Binh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Sancho was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lê Binh didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Honduras's Sebastian Villa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 78 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Paul came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Lê Binh skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nguyễn Lien made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Triệu Anh Hung. After a rather tough play, Huế's Nguyễn Lien got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Huế to leave the ground with a draw.
