In the 11th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandinho Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson de Godoi took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Sabóia. Edgar Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 16 played minutes A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a freekick which was hit by Luís Tróia. Braga Junior FC's Fernandinho Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cavalcante in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Leite in the 29th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Edgar Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Augusto Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Leite in the 42nd minute of the match. When Bruninho Nascimento fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Braga Junior FC's protests and gave Bruninho Nascimento a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Jefferson de Godoi got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson de Godoi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Edgar Sabóia 98 minutes into the match. When the match was over A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Braga Junior FC throughout the match.
