If Bola Forte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Almir Damião got free with Edgar Sabóia in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bruninho Nascimento hit a great ball. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Augusto Oliveira hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Mamutes EC's Almir Damião ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Sabóia. Edgar Sabóia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Braga Junior FC's Edgar Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Damião in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Bruninho Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mamutes EC's Dé Lira came free and shot a quick shot against goal 33 minutes in the game, fortunately Edgar Sabóia had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After 34 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Neves. The supporters of Mamutes EC booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bola Forte scored 2-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexsandro da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Bruninho Nascimento sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcinho Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Almir Damião stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Sabóia came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mamutes EC's Bola Forte. But to his dismay, Bola Forte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 60 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Damião came free, but Edgar Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Fernandão Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Marcinho Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fernandinho Veiga hit a great ball. Edgar Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Damião in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Mamutes EC's Almir Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's Válbson Arce got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute of the match David Lima sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Sabóia skillfully saved the ball. Edgar Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bola Forte, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Edgar do Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braga Junior FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamutes EC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Damião in the 86th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Edgar Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Arce hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Kiko Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braga Junior FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiko Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes of play, Braga Junior FC's Kiko Neves made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcinho Fonseca was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Mamutes EC were the better team. Mamutes EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
