Caxias do Sul booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Décio Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Valle in the 53rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Drogba got free with Gianluigi Donnarumma in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Duarte hit a great ball. 74 minutes in the game, Pedro Paulo Cruz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gianluigi Donnarumma having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Wilson Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz hit a great ball. Michel Drogba struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADM Taquaras. Michel Drogba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ADM Taquaras's Wilson Duarte got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 92 played minutes S.E.R. Caxias do Sul got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel França.
