Castanheiro SC's Ronaldo Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcelo Eger, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 7 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ricardinho Carvalho was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the PATO BRANCO FC defense, Marcelo Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardinho Carvalho. The PATO BRANCO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Carvalho should have stopped the shot. The Castanheiro SC fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ricardinho Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Sarmento went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ricardinho Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 21st minute of the match. Mauro Sarmento scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardinho Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the PATO BRANCO FC defense, Marcelo Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardinho Carvalho. The PATO BRANCO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Ricardinho Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Eger in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, PATO BRANCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Simão to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Geovani Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Júnior Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Ricardinho Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Eger in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcelo Eger was the one to do the kick off. If Marcelo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 52 minutes into the match, Marco Bezerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardinho Carvalho. PATO BRANCO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marco Bezerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. PATO BRANCO FC's Ricardinho Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save PATO BRANCO FC from getting a goal against them. In the 65thth minute of the game Marcelo Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PATO BRANCO FC's Ricardinho Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelo Egers short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Ricardinho Carvalho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ricardinho Carvalho was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Júnior Alagoano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Júnior Alagoano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. A collision led to PATO BRANCO FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Matheus Perez hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardinho Carvalho. Ricardinho Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. 79 minutes into the game, Dênis Rosado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PATO BRANCO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. After 79 played minutes PATO BRANCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Rosado. Luisinho Seco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardinho Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Luisinho Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 81st minute. Telmo da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ricardinho Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Simão during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Fernando Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ricardinho Carvalho managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 91 minutes into the match, PATO BRANCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Sarmento came free, but Ricardinho Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Mauro Sarmento fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ricardinho Carvalho, passed just outside the right post. Ricardinho Carvalho stood somewhat misplaced when Marcelo Eger came free in front of goal and shot 0-12 to the left of him in the 95 minute. Castanheiro SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
