Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dito Donato in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadeu do Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Michel Drogba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Décio Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Zé Augusto Romero struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tadeu do Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADM Taquaras. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Erik Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Duarte during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso do Nascimento to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the game, Michel Shevchenko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeu do Valle. Michel Shevchenko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The ADM Taquaras players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
