Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Mazurkiewicz to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivo Mello during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Ladislao Mazurkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Kader Picar lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. For all the effort they put into the match, the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul.
