The corner led Braga Junior FC's Fernandinho Veiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Décio Marinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 25 played minutes Braga Junior FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernandinho Veiga. 27 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandinho Veiga came free, but Décio Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Décio Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Neves in the 32nd minute of the match. Décio Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of Braga Junior FC booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Shevchenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Marinho having to interfere.

Braga Junior FC's Edgar Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benê Carioca in the 64th minute of play. Edgar Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Shevchenko in the 65th minute of the match. Fernandinho Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiko Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Reinaldo Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Reinaldo Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. Reinaldo Ferraz hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Edgar Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Drogba in the 87th minute of play. Décio Marinho came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Braga Junior FC's Kiko Neves. But to his dismay, Kiko Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
