Benê Simão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 minutes of play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Jean Quintal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benê Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA booed when Vila Industrial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Gyula Grosics played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luuk de Jong in the 18th minute of play. Gyula Grosics didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vila Industrial FC's Luuk de Jong shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Claudinei Monteiro put in a rough tackle. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Zanette made a kick off. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Toninho Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vila Industrial FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gernando Bittencourt hit a great ball. Luuk de Jong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Gyula Grosics made a huge save. João Adolfo Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Adolfo Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
