In the 11th minute, Michel Drogba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PATO BRANCO FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Michel Drogba sped through PATO BRANCO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Pirani. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Drogba in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiaguinho Pirani saved PATO BRANCO FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute ADM Taquaras were awarded a corner. Michel Drogba went to the cornerflag to take it. Michel Drogba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiaguinho Pirani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Tiaguinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Drogba in the 28th minute of play. PATO BRANCO FC's Tiaguinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Drogba in the 29th minute of play. When ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PATO BRANCO FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when PATO BRANCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Drogba in the 35th minute of play forced PATO BRANCO FC's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiaguinho Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, PATO BRANCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Drogba came free, but Tiaguinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The PATO BRANCO FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ADM Taquaras were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Simão to make the kick off. Tiaguinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Shevchenko in the 52nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, ADM Taquaras's Tiaguinho Pirani threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michel Shevchenko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. ADM Taquaras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel Drogba in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Michel Drogba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tiaguinho Pirani quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 57 played minutes PATO BRANCO FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Valle. In the 60th minute, Hílton Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiaguinho Pirani was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Michel Drogba. If Michel Shevchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Drogba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Tiaguinho Pirani when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tiaguinho Pirani made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Michel Drogba sent off a good shot on target. Décio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dito Donato came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the ADM Taquaras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Donato couldn't finish the play. In the 79thth minute of the game Reinaldo Ferraz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PATO BRANCO FC's Tiaguinho Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel Shevchenko struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Tiaguinho Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADM Taquaras. Michel Drogba in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiaguinho Pirani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The ADM Taquaras fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when ADM Taquaras's Michel Drogba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 89 minutes into the game, Michel Drogba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Tiaguinho Pirani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PATO BRANCO FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dito Donato 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. The PATO BRANCO FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ADM Taquaras's performance. The match ended with a win for ADM Taquaras.
