With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisão Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luisão Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Luisão Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Siqueira in the 28th minute of play. Luisão Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Pirani did an outstanding performance 36 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Luisão Simões in the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Paulão Siqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luisão Simões was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carioca 【CIMZ】 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulão Siqueira made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Paulão Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Simões.
