The supporters of Floripa Lions FSCMZ booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Bărbânță was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Batista in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iulian Bucurescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luciano Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iulian Bucurescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Cristi Platon got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Mathias Gaúcho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iulian Bucurescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floripa Lions FSCMZ reached it. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Câmpeanu in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Agud in the 91st minute of play forced Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Evaristo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's performance. The match ended with a win for FC UNIREA Alba Iulia.
