New Joinville - FSCMZ's Válbson Schmidt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiaguinho Pirani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, PATO BRANCO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Xande came free, but Tiaguinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes Lamine Xande rounded PATO BRANCO FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When Ronaldo Viana fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Ronaldo Viana a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Viana. Gilberto Sanches kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamine Xande, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Lamine Xande was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Tiaguinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamine Xande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Charles Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lamine Xande in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiaguinho Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. PATO BRANCO FC's Tiaguinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Xande in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Lamine Xande made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. PATO BRANCO FC's Tiaguinho Pirani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 74th minute of the match Hílton Eger completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hílton Eger a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to PATO BRANCO FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Hílton Eger hit a great ball. Tiaguinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho de Souza in the 76th minute of the match. Tiaguinho Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robinho de Souza's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. PATO BRANCO FC's Charles Sena got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Charles Sena off the ground. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when PATO BRANCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiaguinho Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robinho de Souza's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robinho de Souza in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiaguinho Pirani saved PATO BRANCO FC from getting behind. Robinho de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiaguinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho de Souza in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the New Joinville - FSCMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
