Kléber Pernambucano's late challenge caught a Vila Industrial FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléber Pernambucano helped the player get up and apologised. Kléber Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Váldson Mazza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Benê Simão made a huge save. A collision led to Classe A Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Váldson Mazza hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Rafael Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Cavalcante to make the kick off. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Falcão Viana advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Teodoro Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Duarte came free, but Benê Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Cavalcante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Doriva Simão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ravi Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ravi Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Vila Industrial FC got a freekick which was hit by Ravi Lopes. Ramiro Duarte scored 1-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benê Simão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
