Ediberto da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Davi Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Mandrak scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davi Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulão Siqueira to strike the kick off in the second half. When Adrianinho Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's protests and gave Adrianinho Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Betinho Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Furtado in the 56th minute of play. Paulão Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Tande acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dalmo Pirani.
