The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xande Musiala made a kick off. After 57 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Schmidt. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Serafim Cearense got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
