Dalmo Pirani scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st match minute, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Marcinho Fonseca was a little too slow when Paulão Siqueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Mamutes EC's Marcinho Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Paes in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Paulão Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcinho Fonseca. Mamutes EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulão Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 63 played minutes Mamutes EC got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Paranaense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulão Siqueira in the 65th minute of play forced Mamutes EC's goalkeeper Marcinho Fonseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcinho Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Siqueira in the 66th minute of the match. Paulão Siqueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcinho Fonseca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
