RIBEIRÃO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vivaldo Pitta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Vivaldo Pitta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiaguinho Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After taking down the ball on TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's corner Dudu Neļķis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiaguinho Pirani quite easily take care of the ball. Bruno da Costa scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Pirani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Bruno da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiaguinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Pitta in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Pitta during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vivaldo Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Elói Nogueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiaguinho Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Elói Nogueira came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elói Nogueira couldn't finish the play. Tiaguinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Vivaldo Pitta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiaguinho Pirani. Tiaguinho Pirani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Pitta in the 63rd minute of play forced RIBEIRÃO FC's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Hílton Eger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIBEIRÃO FC and the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG booed when RIBEIRÃO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno da Costas short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Tiaguinho Pirani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Matheus Perez struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Luisão Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIBEIRÃO FC. With his leg Tiaguinho Pirani managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Elói Nogueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. RIBEIRÃO FC's Tiaguinho Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save RIBEIRÃO FC from getting a goal against them. Luisão Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 88 minutes into the game, Elói Nogueira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiaguinho Pirani. Elói Nogueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Tiaguinho Pirani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vivaldo Pitta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 95 minute of play. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG played a much better game than RIBEIRÃO FC and deserved their victory. The RIBEIRÃO FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
