Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiago Machado started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as EDI MZB's Tiago Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Sabóia. That made the score 1-1 after 9 minutes of play. Braga Junior FC's Edgar Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Braga Junior FC from getting a goal against them. After 18 minutes Braga Junior FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evandro Maia who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Braga Junior FC's Edgar Sabóia got control of the ball when Edi Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Braga Junior FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Fernandão Neiva hit a great ball. David Andrade in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgar Sabóia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Tiago Machado sped through Braga Junior FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Sabóia. Edgar Sabóia was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Didi Mesquita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Didi Mesquita really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. 42 minutes into the game, Tiago Machado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar Sabóia. Tiago Machado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. 45 minutes into the match, Evandro Maia notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Braga Junior FC's Edgar Sabóia. Edgar Sabóia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

In the 52nd minute Fernandinho Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edi Souza in the 57th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Edgar Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Edgar Sabóia came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by EDI MZB's Tiago Machado. But to his dismay, Tiago Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 71st minute, Artur Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evandro Maia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Sabóia. Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of EDI MZB booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Sabóia having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Evandro Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Edgar Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Maia in the 81st minute of the match. Edgar Sabóia came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by EDI MZB's Tiago Machado. But to his dismay, Tiago Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Edgar Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Maia in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Braga Junior FC defense, Evandro Maia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Sabóia. The Braga Junior FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Sabóia should have stopped the shot.
