Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Figueiras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to DALO S.C. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Emilio Vispieres hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Vera. Rui Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rui Figueiras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Figueiras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Delgadillo in the 21st minute. Rui Figueiras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Figueiras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DALO S.C.'s Rui Figueiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Figueiras was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to DALO S.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Alonzo Vera hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lode Van Hemel.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Delgadillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes DALO S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 57th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Rui Figueiras threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 59th match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Vera to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Rui Figueiras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by DALO S.C.'s Peter Gascon. But to his dismay, Peter Gascon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Figueiras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Rui Figueiras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Rui Figueiras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
