An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Sergey Blynskih got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfredo Tomasini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Fedotov having to interfere. Efim Fedotov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Luis Escobar in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Denis Lavrentev sped through ALIANZA 1901's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bieito Luzuriaga. Efim Fedotov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 17th minute of the match. After 23 minutes STORM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nazario Ispuzua who took care of the corner kick. Luis Escobar struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Efim Fedotov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALIANZA 1901. ALIANZA 1901's Bieito Luzuriaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ALIANZA 1901 from getting a goal against them. In the 31stth minute of the game Alfredo Tomasini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STORM's Efim Fedotov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ALIANZA 1901's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nazario Ispuzua in the 32nd minute. Pancho Tabernilla hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Bieito Luzuriaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Lavrentev in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Stepan Holodovskiy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALIANZA 1901's Bieito Luzuriaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Pancho Tabernilla got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Tabernilla. Sergey Blynskih, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bieito Luzuriaga came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by STORM's Stepan Holodovskiy. But to his dismay, Stepan Holodovskiy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

53 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efim Fedotov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stepan Holodovskiy struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Bieito Luzuriaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STORM. After a defensive mix-up in ALIANZA 1901's zone, Roman Bolshakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bieito Luzuriaga came out of the goal and Roman Bolshakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Escobar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Efim Fedotov made a huge save. After 61 minutes, Roman Bolshakov made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. ALIANZA 1901's Bieito Luzuriaga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Stepan Holodovskiy came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the STORM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stepan Holodovskiy couldn't finish the play. Bieito Luzuriaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stepan Holodovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bieito Luzuriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Lavrentev in the 77th minute of play. If Alfredo Tomasini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Holodovskiy came free, but Bieito Luzuriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bieito Luzuriaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Bolshakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Escobar in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efim Fedotov saved STORM from getting behind. Efim Fedotov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match ALIANZA 1901 got a corner. STORM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nazario Ispuzua ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Josepe Gamiz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Alfredo Tomasini was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. ALIANZA 1901's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
