Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Smash FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Mendiko to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Viviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute of the match, Denis Viviano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 10 minutes into the match, Smash FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Paulino Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fivos Martinakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Paulino Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play. After 23 played minutes Smash FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Viviano. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Qwinton Urtubia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulino Mitxaut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Viviano was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Smash FC's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Mitxaut came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Smash FC's Paulino Mitxaut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Smash FC from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Paulino Mitxaut made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Smash FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Anastasio Rosalio fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smash FC's protests and gave Anastasio Rosalio a yellow card for diving instead. Anastasio Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Smash FC's Paulino Mitxaut got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Smash FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jalmari Jatkola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Mitxaut was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 78th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulino Mitxaut. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 83rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Smash FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulino Mitxaut quite easily take care of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Denis Viviano made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Mitxaut having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paulino Mitxaut saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
