Lütfü Mürsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Rubio in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Rubio in the 7th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Lütfü Mürsel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Rubio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lütfü Mürsel was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Rubio in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lütfü Mürsel saved Fenerbahçe from getting behind. The Fenerbahçe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC LEMUREN were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Rubio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Nemesio Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Mürsel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fenerbahçe's Lütfü Mürsel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Nemesio Rubio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC LEMUREN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Nemesio Rubio took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lütfü Mürsel. Lütfü Mürsel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 94 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Lütfü Mürsel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mickael Volens. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC LEMUREN had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
