Freddy Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Fenerbahçe's Lütfü Mürsel got control of the ball when Cristóvão de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fenerbahçe's Lütfü Mürsel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Metehan Aurelio hit a great ball. Freddy Cordarrell took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anak Agung Mustaqim. Anak Agung Mustaqim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão de Moraes to make the kick off. Fenerbahçe's Lütfü Mürsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Moraes in the 53rd minute of play. Anak Agung Mustaqim was a little too slow when Freddy Cordarrell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-4. After some careless play in the Zayn journey fc defense, Freddy Cordarrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anak Agung Mustaqim. The Zayn journey fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anak Agung Mustaqim should have stopped the shot. Lütfü Mürsel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanyan Ariwibowo in the 81st minute of the match. If Freddy Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zayn journey fc's Anak Agung Mustaqim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Zayn journey fc from getting a goal against them. Lütfü Mürsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Waworuntu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fenerbahçe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
