With a little luck, River Plate ® 9-12's Rigoberto Bihar got control of the ball when Fabinho Bittencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apat Reina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Silvanito in the 5th minute of the match. Rigoberto Bihar came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Retumbante FC's Fabinho Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Fabinho Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammet Ökten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Muhammet Ökten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12thth minute of the game Muhammet Ökten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Retumbante FC's Apat Reina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muhammet Ökten in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apat Reina saved Retumbante FC from getting behind. Placido Silvanito scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apat Reina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rigoberto Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Placido Silvanito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate ® 9-12's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Silvanito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Placido Silvanito might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apat Reina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Silvanito ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute Placido Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Frank Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Bihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Gonçalves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rigoberto Bihar. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. Apat Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Silvanito came free, but Apat Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Silvanito in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apat Reina saved Retumbante FC from getting behind. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammet Ökten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Placido Silvanito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plate ® 9-12 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Rigoberto Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Retumbante FC made a substitution. Jarbas Dantas replaced Basílio Cearense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Muhammet Ökten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Christian in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Akhilleus Rallis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apat Reina was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Silvanito got free with Apat Reina in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Belmiro Mello in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by River Plate ® 9-12's Jimeno Jimeno. In the 80th minute, Muhammet Ökten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Placido Silvanito might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apat Reina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Silvanito ran back to his position shaking his head. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Retumbante FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Placido Silvanito took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Apat Reina to make any attempt to save it. The River Plate ® 9-12 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
