If Hauk Hareide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diablos FC's João Vítor de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Santos in the 39th minute of play. João Vítor de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Hauk Hareide sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Carabata Groove made a substitution. Andreas Möller replaced Herbert Pilipiec. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto-Federico Acosta made a kick off. Juan Regato hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Alberto-Federico Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor de Amorim having to interfere. Diablos FC's Franklin Hostos was substituted for Moises Suane. Cristobal Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Hostos in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Diablos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto-Federico Acosta came free, but João Vítor de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diablos FC's João Vítor de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto-Federico Acosta in the 73rd minute of play. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Carabata Groove from getting a goal against them. Iisakki Hilden took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Vítor de Amorim. Diablos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adolfo Dolcet made a great header on Carabata Groove's corner, it was just that Diablos FC's João Vítor de Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Franklin Hostos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristobal Goito. That made the score 1-1 in the 87 minute of play. With a little luck, Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito got control of the ball when Kaviedes Arrese tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Diablos FC's Juan Regato got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cristobal Goito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Hostos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
