The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Vítor de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hauk Hareide, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Reimundo Casado came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Hostos in the 76th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto-Federico Acosta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but João Vítor de Amorim made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Reimundo Casado came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carabata Groove walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
