With a little luck, Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski got control of the ball when Tatang Setiadi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Dong Xi Jun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Pirates of Black Sea from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Bo Shehri in the 30th minute of play forced Pirates of Black Sea's goalkeeper Wasyl Modrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s zone, Dong Xi Jun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç came out of the goal and Dong Xi Jun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wasyl Modrzewski was a little too slow when Golo Dizenbergs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 37th minute Dong Xi Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Xi Jun in the 39th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Pirates of Black Sea's corner Işık Korhan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç quite easily take care of the ball. In the 46th minute, Dong Xi Jun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Numan Zaid in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris-George Chevalier in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, ☆☆ GâLâTâSâRâY ☆☆'s goalkeeper Ahmet Çağrı Yamaç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Dowrick. İsmail Cem Yaves's late challenge caught a Pirates of Black Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İsmail Cem Yaves helped the player get up and apologised. The Pirates of Black Sea supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pirates of Black Sea would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
