The Quilaquina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Braulio Nalo should have stopped the shot. Braulio Nalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quilaquina AFC's zone, Vito Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Nalo came out of the goal and Vito Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liu Zhou Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Quinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Prospero Beila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quilaquina AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Galacticos the free kick. Xie Yue Chao shot from long distance in the 48th minute, but Braulio Nalo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mai Yao Kun made a kick off. Braulio Nalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Yue Chao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xie Yue Chao in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Nalo saved Quilaquina AFC from getting behind. Witomir Lampa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's goalkeeper Liu Zhou Feng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Quinton. 69 minutes into the match, Quilaquina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Yue Chao came free, but Braulio Nalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 minutes Quilaquina AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xie Yue Chao who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Edwardo McDermott heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Braulio Nalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Le, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
