Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Van Schouten kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Van Schouten in the 6th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Säfvahöjden's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Van Schouten, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Säfvahöjden's Nono Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Nono Gol came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play forced Säfvahöjden's goalkeeper Nono Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Van Schouten. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simon Igelström was slow to take the kick. During this time Säfvahöjden's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Håkan Petersson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nono Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nono Gol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. 39 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's Simon Igelström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 42nd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Montes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Montes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Sancho made a kick off. Nono Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Säfvahöjden booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sonny Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Säfvahöjden's supporters rose to their feet, but Sonny Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Säfvahöjden's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Nono Gol, making the score, 0-3. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Vennerdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Säfvahöjden's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simon Igelström in the 69th minute. The corner ended in Simon Igelström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Sonny Wallin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Don Olofinjana's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Don Olofinjana helped the player get up and apologised. 84 minutes into the match, Säfvahöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nono Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Oskar Hääger kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Säfvahöjden getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Sigvard Ånger hit a great ball.
