Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. Attila Kertész's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attila Kertész helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Honduras booed when Goianésia E.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Kertész didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Goianésia E.C getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. João Trigo hit a great ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goianésia E.C's Norbert Balonek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Norbert Balonek. Norbert Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes Goianésia E.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. In the 20th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Kertész recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Goianésia E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Norbert Balonek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honduras were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Goianésia E.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmundo Espiga took the corner. Gabi Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Norbert Balonek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute of the match. Gabi Gols short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabi Gol made a kick off. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, João Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Espinar in the 62nd minute of play forced Goianésia E.C's goalkeeper Norbert Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabi Gol's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 77th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ocampo. In the 79th match minute, Goianésia E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Norbert Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Arrigo De Filippo in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
