Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Adrian Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Vilhelm Lidman managed to get in a good position for a shot. SJÖARED's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Lidman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sture Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Springfält made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sture Göransson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Springfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Springfält was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Göransson in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sture Göransson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Helge Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Adrian Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Adrian Springfält tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Gustafsson in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, SJÖARED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Hellström to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SJÖARED's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Springfält came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urban Rudberg in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute of the match SJÖARED got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Bålström ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Roger Bålström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of play forced SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
