Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Chaves's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delfim Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. Osvaldo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of the match. Teofil Pisarcik hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hortêncio Mandraks short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Dante Lacasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 30 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Neto. EDI MZB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Osvaldo Neto came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 37th minute of play. Ma Lang Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Osvaldo Neto made a huge save. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Neto. Osvaldo Neto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 62nd minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 64th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldo Neto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 72 minutes in the game Lorenzo Cazalla did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Mancebo. Osvaldo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 77th minute of play. Osvaldo Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 82nd minute. 90 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of EDI MZB's Osvaldo Neto. Osvaldo Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Osvaldo Neto to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the EDI MZB defense, Facundo Cadaval kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Neto. The EDI MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Neto should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EDI MZB throughout the match.
