After a defensive mix-up in Yaji FC's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yao Guang Chao came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás González didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla succeeded in the game's 16th minute to get real power on a long shot . Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! Yao Guang Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Yao Guang Chao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Arturo Ranolfo with Pascual Pes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Macos Graciani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Ziemba in the 94th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Lehoi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yaji FC.
