An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 8th minute of play forced Ganadería casa Ferreiro's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Gabri Casals left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ganadería casa Ferreiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Romero came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Ganadería casa Ferreiro's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Nguyễn Phuoc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee ignored Ganadería casa Ferreiro's protests and gave Enzo Romero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ganadería casa Ferreiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Phuoc came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ter Stegen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ganadería casa Ferreiro's Ter Stegen got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ganadería casa Ferreiro.
